Qrytext: Wondering if anyone out there has a John and Mary MORRISON from Marion Bridge in their tree. This couple and their seven children (Ann, Kate, Effie, Rory, Malcolm, William and Mary Ann) are listed on the 1881 census. They are in house 185 while next door at 186 is Peggy and Neil MATHESON. Next door to them are John E MORRISON and Catherine MORRISON. Catherine was my great-great grandmother. Peggy was her daughter from her first marriage to Neil LAMOND and John a son from her second marriage to Kenneth MORRISON. What I am trying to ascertain is if the John MORRISON living on the other side of Peggy is possibly her uncle John and brother to my great-great grandmother Catherine. His listed year of birth on the census certainly would fit. Hope this looks familiar to someone! Jennifer
