CAPE BRETON COUNTIES GENWEB

ST. MARY'S / TRINITY ANGLICAN CEMETERY
(Shore Road Cemetery)

Shore Road, Sydney Mines, Cape Breton County, NS

There are three sections to the cemetery, each with the front rows facing Shore Road. We know the left side is Catholic and called St. Mary's, and the right side is Anglican and called Trinity Anglican. The status of the middle section is in the process of being researched, although some of the names seem to indicate that it is also St. Mary's.

This page is presently being updated to include all the legible stones. For the time being, the page will include two subdivisions:
A The original listing by Beverly Darby-Brown
B The beginning of the major update

Listing done by Beverly Darby-Brown
This partial list is from the cemetery on Shore Road Sydney Mines. As you face the cemetery, the left side is Catholic and is known as St. Mary's Cemetery. The right side is Anglican and I know it as Trinity Anglican Cemetery.
