FURGUSON, MUNROE-CLARKE posted by Angus Clarke on Saturday, September 1, 2001: I have found that members of the Clarke family have married into the Furguson and Munroe family. What I have on information is-Selina Clarke wife of Angus A Furguson Selina died April 17, 1904 and is buried in the Gordon United Church Cemetery in Reserve Mines, Cape Breton. Mary Ann Clarke was the wife of John Furguson Mary Ann died in 1925 her husband died in 1930,both are buried in the Gordon United Church cemetery. Would anyone have a connection? O'Handly was born in Boulardarie, Cape Breton in 1867. His parents were Roderick Ohanley and Theresa Susan McPhee. My Great-grandmother, Alexina Morrison was born in Cape Breton about 1870, her parents were John Morrison and Christine Dingwell. By 1893, Alexander and Alexina were married, living in Boston, MA. and started rising a family. Would appreciate hearing from anyone has knowledge of these families. .
