I am looking for information on Mary Ann Fougere. I am under, the understanding that she is from around the Arichat area. This may not be true. There isn't much to go on except the date of birth, and death. She is buried in the town of Pictou, Nova Scotia. Fougere, Mary Ann born: 1870 or 1867, died: 1954. She was married to Felix LeBlanc, but this did not take place until she was in Pictou. Felix LeBlanc was a widow. His first wife was Roselle Madore from Arichat, Cape Breton. She died in the town of Pictou. I am looking for Mary Ann Fougere's parents, and where for sure this lady is from. This is so vage in information I don't know if anyone can help me. If anyone can, please email me. Thank's Susan .

Looking for family that originated in Cape Breton but moved to Newfoundland. Information that I have starting with my most recent connection: Helen (Ellen) MacEachren (spelling varied so unsure of exact spelling) married to Nicholas Elias Alley (Great Grand-parents. Her father was Simon MacEachren. Simon had a sister Nancy. They may have been born in Newfoundland but unsure. Parents were Catherine Mac(Mc)Isaac and ?? MacEachren. The name McEwen is also linked but unsure if McEwen may have been a first husband of Catherine or if the name was McEwen MacEachren. Any insights would be appreciated. .

Looking for any information on the following family moving from Nova Scotia to Red Rocks (Cape Ray) Newfoundland. The name was originally Lejeune but changed to Young. I don't know if this happened before they went to Newfoundland, or upon arriving at Newfoundland. The only name I have is Sarah Young born in Cape Ray in mid-late 1800s. She married Thomas Wall and they lived in Red Rocks. This land was apparently all Young land. Any help or insight would be very much appreciated. .

Looking for ANN MORRISON from the Cleveland area of Richmond Co. married to DONALD MACPHEE of MacPhee Islands (then Indian Islands )near Northside East Bay. Ann died Dec. 12/1920, out-living Donald by close to fifty years. Donald was born in PEI around 1785 and died at MacPhee Islands on Oct 6/1869. Their son Michael(the youngest of 8 or 9 children ), was born around 1851 and considering their ages at that time it's highly likely that she was his second wife. Family lore also has it that Donald's first wife and a child drowned when their boat capsized on a trip from Eskasoni(Indian Islands) to either Big Pond or Ben Eoin. Any help would be greatly appreciated. .
