Family comes from Sydney Mines, NS. There are a BUNCH of relatives in NS, close and not so close. Question is, does ANYONE really know who the ancester was from the old world and when he crossed. If so, where did you find that data. Every relative I've known for nearly the past half century really doesn't have a clue. Except in Cape Breton, O'Handleys are as scarce as hens teeth everywhere else. For those who wonder who I am, I'm Michael, son of Hugh O'Handley of Sydney Mines, whose brothers are Daniel and Albert. Their parents were Sadie (formerly Davidson from Lordois(sp?)) and Angus. I'd be interested in hearing what anyone knows. Thanks.
