Patrick was married to Helen Maloney, also from Silvermines. They were married in Ireland. I'm interested in information about the families in Ireland as well as Canada.
The descendant I'm particularly interested in is John Kyte (b. Apr 14, 1814, m. Jul 17, 1843 River Bourgeois to Marguerite Power, m. Nov 9, 1859 L'Ardoise Parish, St. Peters to Elizabeth Robertson, d. Jul 22, 1908 in River Bourgeois).
Any information is appreciated. Thank you.

LEBLANC, MARCHAND, SAMSOM posted by Pamela Sampson on Sunday, November 22, 1998

Hi, I believe I am a descendent of Deseree Samson (I understand he was lost at sea at the age of 38). My spelling may be wrong, but his son William was my great, great grandfather. I believe Deseree married Julia LeBlanc or Julia Marchand. I am curious as to how many children they had and if my information is correct. Also, for some reason, when my relatives came to Boston, they added a "p" to the name Samsom (or maybe Immigration did that). I believe their marriage took place in the mid to early 1800's. I would love to know if my information is accurate so that I might travel up to Nova Scotia to see the land of my ancestors. There are many Sampsons in the Boston area and we are planning a reunion and I would like to include this information in the family tree. Thank you so much for any help you can offer. Warmest Regards. Pamela Sampson P.S. Is there a Sampson's Cove up there? I have not seen it on the map. Thanks again
