Elizabeth Dolores McInnis was my husbands mother. b.1923 Sidney, d 1967 long beach, california. her mother was Mary Brown and her father was Niel McInnis. Sibs were Mary, Reene, Neil Jr.(BUD) who was an RCMP, and there may have been one other. We have limnited information about the family. I believe that the family moved to Halifax around 1930. Elizabeth joined the ARmy and was stationed in Toronto where she met and married my husbands father John McEachern in 1946. They moved to Boston and had two sons, John Jr, in 1947 and Gary Lee in 1949. My husbands's aunt Mary married Nelson REnnie, and settled in Halifax where they raised a daughter named Jane who was an accomplshed ice skater, I believe in the 1960's. I beleive that Neil Jr.had a daughter, but I do not know her name. My husband was raised in the states after his mother died by his father's family so we do not have the usual family resources for information. In 1975, we were told that there were relatives in Sidney, probably cousins. Any info on this line of McInnis's would be most appreciated
