Trying to find information on Peggy Lamond dau/o Catherine Morrison and Neil Lamond of Marion Bridge. Peggy was born ABT 1840 or so. Her father was killed by lightning. Her mother Catherine married a second time to Kenneth Morrison and had four more children. Peggy married Neil Matheson and was apparently his second wife. Any info on Catherine and Kenneth's children would be great as well. Thanks!

Looking for information on my g-g-grandfather, his wife and their children. Allan (aka Ailean Beag) MacDONALD (son of Alisdair, Ailean) of Gillis Lake, East Bay, CB married a MORRISON woman. They had 5 daughters and 2 sons. Their mother died when the children were quite young, their father was unable to care for them thus sent them off separately to live with relatives throughout CB. Their children (not in birth order) were: twin- Elizabeth Jane, b.circa 1878, d.1955, m. John S. Campbell (Alasdair, Iain, Iain) of MacAdam's Lake. (My g-grandparents, I have info on their descendants) Ruphena (Elizabeth's twin), b. circa 1878 Margaret Maryann (had a daughter Catherine who married Duncan Floyd) Jessie Vincent and Allan who had at least one son Alec. Also researching MacISAAC's of Port Hood, Inverness Co. MacCUISH's (variation McCOUSH) of Catalone and Glace Bay areas of CB Co. Any information will be greatly appreciated. Anne MacCuish

looking for information of James William O'Callaghan, b. June 9, 1860, d Sept 11, 1917 married to Mary Elizabeth Keefe, b. May 16, 1863 d Mar 19, 1937. looking for parents of both parties. James William lived at 14 Beacon Street, Sydney. They had 11 children, James Cornelius (Con),Emmett Robert, Arthur Hilory, John Lambert (J.L., Chuckie, Bert), Mary Ann, Ethel, Florence (Floss), Aileen Hilda, Daniel Joseph and 2 died in infancy. Searching for information of John Wiseman Francis, born Nov. 27, 1863, died Sept. 14, 1945, married 1st Maggie Tobin b.Feb.20/1865 d. March 6/1899, married 2nd Annie MacNeill. Would anyone know who John's parents were also anything about Annie. I know all the info on the first marriage but none on the second other than 3 children, Edward, Ethelbert Gonzola, and ??. Am looking for information on the MCINTYRE family originally lived in Beechmont, CB County. Their names include Duncan, Angus, John, James, Margaret. John was married to Catherine MCSWEEN. Catherine had a brother Ranald and was somehow connected to the MCSWEENS who owned a construction company around Glace Bay & Bridgeport. The MCINTYRE family was from South Uist, Scotland and may have lived in PEI prior to coming to Beechmont. Later, the family lived in Bridgeport and then Dominion. Any information greatly appreciated.

THEY WERE BOTH PLACED IN THE HOME OF THE GUARDIAN ANGEL IN HALIFAX ON 07-06-14. MY MOTHER WAS TAKEN BY MR. AND MRS.THOMAS ORAM OF FLORENCE CAPE BRETON ON 02-28-15 AND HER BROTHER WAS TAKEN NY A MR. AND MRS. NEIL MACNEIL OF NORTH SYDNEY. MY UNCLE WAS NAMED JOHN EDWARD NIXON BUT I'M SURE THAT WHEN THE MACNEILS TOOK HIM THAY WOULD HAVE GIVEN THEIR LAST NAME, MAYBE EVEN CHANGING HIS FIRST NAME. HE WAS TAKEN FROM THE ORPHANAGE IN HALIFAX ON 08-28-15. MY MOTHER DIDNT FIND THIS OUT UNTIL 1965 BUT WAS UNABLE TO FIND OUT ANYTHING AT THE TIME. Thank you for your time..I am looking for any informaiton on John Munro born 1793 Inverness, Scotland who came and settled North East Margaree bef 1838. He married Mary Coady of the Coady and Ingraham line on 18 mar 1842. He died on 30 jun 1878. I would also like any information on any Munro's that anyone may have seen on a ships list. Mary MACNEIL, born June 18, 1867, around East Bay, baptised at St.Mary's Church in East Bay. Worked in Halifax where she married Richard BUCKINGHAM, a British soldier stationed at Halifax. Her father was Michael MACNEIL and her mother was Catherine MACDONALD.
