I'm Looking For the LeFort's of Cape Breton, the only names I have are Barnie,Ernest,which are father and son. Ernest LeFort was my father his Mother was Named Lillian Grimshaw(not sure if thats the right spelling of Grimshaw)?????

I'm trying to locate any information on a Nora (Pottie)White, She was married to a John White. I have very little info as I am just starting this search She was my Grandmother.What I need is her parents names and any other info.I know she lived in Halifax after her marriage what I don't know is weather she was married in Halifax or Cape Breton and I'm not sure where she lived in Cape Breton?????

Looking for information concerning my grandfather, Timothy Joseph Mullins, b. 4/1/1867 at North Sydney,son of John Mullins, b. North Sydney d. Halifax(?) 1907, and Margaret Desmond, b. Ireland d. 1876. Also John Mullins (per census taken 1818 in Cape Hood district) age 31 in 1818 (b. about 1787), arrived on island in 1808 at age 21. Parents from Ireland, situation: coal mines, trade: cooper. Married with 4 children in 1818. Would appreciate any information to connect this last John Mullins with my great grandfather mentioned above. Can anyone give me a location for Cape Hood district. Also, my great grandfather apparently remarried after the death of Margaret Desmond in 1876 and had two daughters, Mary ("Minnie", who became a housekeeper to priests in Portland, Maine, and Margaret).
